By Arun Misra, Ph. D.*

Election and counting came and went so fast that I could  hardly settle and collect my ideas (both pre- and post-election) to put on paper.

Feeling Guilty : McCain’s magnanimous concession speech very clearly showed that he was  repenting ,
and realized very late that country is not prepared for divisive conservative agenda. Why would he stop campaigning, even trying to abstain from debate, and run to Washington DC,  to help the banks. He felt guilty, as he was involved in a similar savings and loan scandal in the 1980s, and the Keating five might
have come in  his dreams to push him to do something that it does not happen again, and McCain is re-accused of  ‘questionable judgment’. This move was not for the main street, but for the wall street, and for hiding his personal failure (s).

No Shakespeare : ‘What’s in a name’, said Shakespeare. Michelle Obama is no Shakespeare. Did you listen her saying in paid commercials about  Barack, ‘Which parent keeps their child’s name as Barack Obama?’
How much of disdain she has about African names, and how proud she feels about her European name , Michelle. What does she feel about  African, Indian, Oriental, Hispanic cultures, and names like
Arun Misra , I am curious  to know.  Barack was busy hiding his middle, ’Hussein’,  and repeating again and again that his mother was white, his grandparents were white, to prove that he is not ‘black’, while Michelle busy defending her European name. No wonder many a people, of similar temperament,  will feel that  White House  will not be  ‘white‘ , after Barack and Michelle occupy it.

Collin Powell : He is back again pedaling his  resume for a job from Obama. His blatant lies on the world stage, at UNO about moving laboratories of biological weapons by Saddam Hussain is still fresh in our memories. If there were a Nobel prize for ‘lying’, Collin would have won it.  He helped Bush   initiate and maintain a war and save Republicans for eight long years. But he did this in such a lousy way, that even Bush had to fire him.  Collin many years ago wrote a book and  sold numerous copies  of  it to fill his coffers pretending to  stand for the office of the President of  the United States, which he never did, nor had any intention to do so.  Collin should be kept away from White House, else he will get  Obama into another war to keep hold on power like Bush.

Israel : His name is not Rahm Emmanuel, but Rahm I. Emmaneul, or Ram Israel Immanuel. Barack Obama got him to be the  Chief of White House  Staff.  Like Barack was hiding his middle name to avoid being identified with  Muslims and terrorists,  Rahm is hiding his middle name to avoid being  identified as
supporter of Jews and  Israel. Thus all hopes of Muslims in Arab countries and elsewhere, that a
Barack Hussein Obama might be sympathetic to them, has been shattered with the appointment of
Rahm Israel Emmanuel. Like Barack, after winning the election,   feels comfortable speaking about race, Rahm will start using his middle, ‘Israel’ after all the  chips have been placed correctly to favor Jews
and drive Palestinians out of Jerusalem.

excellent article. Mr. Obama's Thus, management is a process of aligning people and getting them committed to work for a common goal to the maximum social benefit - in search of excellence. Major functions of a manager are planning, organizing, leading and coordinating activities -- they put different emphasis and suggest different natures of activities in the following four major functions..
The critical question in all managers' minds is how to be effective in their job. The answer to this fundamental question is found in the Bhagavad-Gita, which repeatedly proclaims that "you must try to manage yourself." The reason is that unless a manager reaches a level of excellence and effectiveness, he or she will be merely a face in the crowd.
